One extra delight in the Starkville Community Theatre's performance of “Sanders Family Christmas” is that the majority of the cast also played the Sanders Family last year in “Smoke on the Mountain.” Paul Ruff, Madeline Golden, Bob Swanson, Krista Vowell, and Cindy Ruff are

all reprising their roles in the Sanders family.

“It's so much fun to revisit this character and be back singing with my country family,” said Cindy Ruff, who is once again playing Denise Sanders.

Only a few changes in casting have been made, such as Grif Lippencott shifting into the role of Dennis Sanders, and Drew Dieckmann joining the cast as Stanley Sanders. According to Archer, Dieckmann

is no stranger to “Sanders Family Christmas,” as he performed in the cat of the show when it was performed at SCT in 2006.

SCT Executive Director Gabe Smith advised Starkville citizens who are interested to reserve seating in advance, as multiple performances to the show are close to being sold out. Evening performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. are scheduled for December 1-3 and December 6-10, with one

earlier performance on December 4 beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets for “Sanders Family Christmas are still available at the Starkville Community Theatre Box Office, and can be reserved by calling 662323-6855 or by going online to https://starkville-community-theatre.ticketleap.com/ sanders. For more information on the show.
